This desk was constructed out of store bought pine posts and benchtop to deliver an affordable, custom solution. The room also had a fold out sofa that when in use the desk needed to move to the adjacent wall, hence the casters. The top was stained Japan Black whilst the legs and apron were painted semi gloss black for a touch of contrast.
